Whitney is a dedicated pre-med student who recently completed her Master’s in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University. Throughout her academic journey, she has observed a significant lack of diversity within the fields of medicine and science. As a committed advocate for change, she strives to apply her education to develop programs that empower Black women and girls to excel in STEM. In addition to her academic and advocacy efforts, she actively volunteers at Memorial Hospital. She dedicates her time to mentoring to numerous minority high school students, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and professional goals. providing guidance and support to help them navigate their academic and professional aspirations. With a strong passion for medicine, she aspires to become a physician, using her future career to further promote diversity and equity in healthcare.
