Imani Joval is a graduating senior from William H. Turner Technical Arts High School and an incoming Biochemistry major at Florida International University. With a 4.3 weighted GPA and dual enrollment credits under her belt, Imani is on a mission to become a dermatologist. Inspired by her mother’s resilience and driven by a passion for health, confidence, and representation in medicine, Imani hopes to break generational barriers and make skin health accessible to underserved communities. She is also deeply committed to mentorship, using her experience to guide other young students toward academic success.

Ebonie Knight
Howard University
Rising Sophomore | Civil Engineering Major

Ebonie Knight is a rising sophomore at Howard University majoring in Civil Engineering. Born and raised in Liberty City, Ebonie’s passion for building and design was inspired by her childhood experiences with her father, a love for HGTV, and a desire to revitalize historically underserved communities. Ending her freshman year at HU with a cumulative GPA of 3.60, she plans to pursue a career in real estate development and infrastructure, focusing on sustainable, affordable housing and equitable urban planning. Ebonie aspires to launch a mission-driven construction company that prioritizes community uplift and inclusive city development.
