Jessica Beckford

Jessica Beckford is a Secondary Mathematics Instructional Specialist for Broward County Public Schools. She is a passionate educator with 20 years of experience creating and developing standards-based curricula around mathematics. Jessica has 15 ½ years of classroom instruction as a high school mathematics teacher. Although she believes she has more experience ever since she was 10 years old teaching her younger siblings during their summers off in play school. In her current position, Jessica has developed skills in designing and facilitating engaging Professional Development which led her to a position with the FL Department of Education’s Summer B.E.S.T. Mathematics Professional Learning series in 2021.  She has a desire to see students excel in mathematics by aiding teachers with best practices.
